DreamHost is experiencing some problems.... My latest posts, or files associated with them are missing. They had some server problems last month and moved my site to a new server which then also died so they moved it back... loosing my stuff somewhere in the middle. Hopefully they'll get it back soon :(

I did rush to the computer this morning to make sure it was still true... I cannot believe the numbers, how it wasn't even close. Everybody seems a little happier today, well at least here in Chicago! Great time to be here....

August 1st marked 1 year since I quit smoking!!!. The complete ban on smoking in the city of Chicago and $8 a pack helped me make the decision to try. Chantix made it possible.... Now, I will never know if I would succeed without it. I tried a few times before and didn't get past 3 weeks. Maybe it was "my time" to quit, but that pill helped a lot. Out of 6 people I know personally that tried it - 4 are not smoking. There are some reports of side effect but all drugs have them ;) Don't want to sound like a commercial, but it helped me, so maybe it's worth trying.... Good luck!

Today I talked somebody out of buying a Toyota Prius! I was certainly not trying (very hard) to do that. I was very surprised to find out that there's a 4 months waiting list for this "car" and that it costs around 25K! Yeah, I kinda looked at it when it first came out, and was kinda intrigued by it but as soon as I learned more about it I lost all interest. Although I don't know anybody who owns one, I'd rather somebody else make fun of it, and Clarkson does such a great job! That's for those who are thinking about buying one.
